The week is far from over, but two pages from the official jury verdict sheets in the Diddy RICO trial have already leaked online. These documents offer the rest of us (those not on jury duty)—a rare glimpse into how jurors are being instructed to reach a decision.
Though not the full set, the two visible pages break down charges against multiple defendants, requiring jurors to determine whether each person committed at least two racketeering acts within a 10-year span. And under RICO, even a lack of full knowledge of the criminal enterprise doesn’t prevent a conviction. Zoom in for a closer look: do the sheets seem confusing to you, or pretty straightforward?

As of this post (at 6:48pm ET), the jury has reached a decision on 4 of the 5 counts. But they remain undecided on Count 1, the most serious charge: racketeering and conspiracy. The judge has ordered them back to deliberations, and a final verdict is expected tomorrow (Wednesday) before the holiday weekend.
Just a quick memo on what’s at stake:• The defense needs just one juror to hold reasonable doubt.• The prosecution needs all 12 to agree.• The burden of proof lies entirely with the government.
With only one count left (and the most critical) it’s still possible this could end in a hung jury.
